Disclosure

Last updated: October 16, 2026

The Bitcoin Radar is an independent publication operated by Digital Resources Group LLC. This page explains, plainly, how the Site makes money and where its lines are. We would rather over-disclose than have a reader wonder.

Not financial advice

First and most important: nothing on this Site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold bitcoin or any other asset. We publish educational and informational content. We make no price predictions and no return promises, and we have a standing editorial rule against both, described in our Editorial Policy. Bitcoin is volatile and you can lose money holding it. Decisions are yours; for advice, consult a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Affiliate links

Some articles — mainly the practical guides to wallets, exchanges and services — contain affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This is disclosed here, applies site-wide, and individual guides that use affiliate links carry their own disclosure line as well.

What affiliate links never change on this Site:

  • Your price. Commissions are paid by the vendor, not added to what you pay. Where an affiliate link includes a reader discount, we say so.
  • Our comparisons. Products are compared on their merits, trade-offs stated, including the unflattering ones. We name products we earn nothing from alongside ones we do, when they belong in the comparison. Placement in a table or a “best for” verdict is never sold.
  • Our coverage. No vendor reviews, approves or previews our content, and no affiliate relationship obliges us to cover, or to keep covering, anyone.

If a product we link to deteriorates — a security incident, a trust-damaging decision — the coverage gets updated to say so, affiliate relationship or not. Our handling of specific vendor controversies in the wallet guides is the working example of this policy.

Advertising and sponsorships

The Site may carry clearly identified advertising or sponsorships from time to time. Any such placement is labeled as advertising, kept visually distinct from editorial content, and never written in our editorial voice. Sponsors get no input into editorial content, rankings or coverage decisions. We do not publish undisclosed paid posts, and we do not accept payment for reviews.

Reader support and products

The publication is also supported by voluntary reader contributions and may in the future offer its own products (such as paid guides or tools). These will always be identified as ours.

What we hold

The people behind The Bitcoin Radar may hold bitcoin. We consider that fact unavoidable context for anyone writing seriously about the subject, and a reason for, not against, the Site’s no-predictions, no-recommendations rules. We do not hold or promote altcoins, and per our editorial policy the Site does not cover them except as contrast. We do not trade around our own coverage, and nothing on the Site is timed or written to benefit any position.

Accuracy of third-party information

Prices, fees, features and terms of exchanges, wallets and services change without notice. We date our figures and check them at publication, but always verify current terms with the vendor before relying on them. We are not responsible for third parties’ products, security or conduct; our Terms of Use cover this in full.
